Francine Glazer
Interim Provost
Francine Glazer serves as interim provost and vice president of academic affairs. She is also the founding director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at ºÚÁϵ¼º½. Prior to joining ºÚÁϵ¼º½ in 2008, she was a professor of biological sciences at Kean University for 16 years.
A biologist by training, Glazer has been actively working with faculty members on issues of teaching and learning since 1993.

Jared Littman
Vice Provost for Research
Jared E. Littman, Ph.D., joined the university in 2023 as vice provost for research, a new position. His professional experience spans 22 years in the higher education and medical sectors, focusing on research development, administration, and compliance.
Previously, Littman served as executive director of research administration at Long Island University (LIU), overseeing sponsored projects, research development, and research compliance.

Francesca Fiore
Associate Provost
Francesca Fiore serves as associate provost. Prior to joining ºÚÁϵ¼º½, her nearly 20-year career in the nonprofit and higher education sectors focused on developing, implementing, and scaling programs that promote educational access and economic opportunity.
At ºÚÁϵ¼º½, she collaborates with various academic units to facilitate the development of innovative degree, certificate, and credential programs with high workforce demand potential.

Tiffani Hinds
Associate Provost
Tiffani L. Hinds joined New York Institute of Technology as interim Dean of Students for the Long Island and New York City campuses in July 2019 after serving as Dean of Students at The College of New Rochelle (CNR). As Dean of Students, she was responsible for championing ºÚÁϵ¼º½’s goal to be a student-centered institution that creates culture change, promotes inclusion and diversity, stimulates innovation and entrepreneurship, and promotes personal and professional student growth and development.
She worked closely with faculty, department chairs, deans, and student affairs staff to enhance the student experience through programs, initiatives, and resources related to student activities, residence life, health and wellness, new student orientation, student leadership, judicial affairs, and commuter student services.

Sheri Kelleher
Assistant Provost
Sheri E. Kelleher joined New York Institute of Technology in 2004. While working in the Office of Academic Affairs, she designed and piloted a New Faculty Mentoring Program and the Mentors Institute with the Center for Teaching and Learning; coordinated faculty hires, onboarding, and personnel actions; and managed faculty events, networking sessions, and accreditation visits. She then went on to serve as the founding assistant dean of the School of Interdisciplinary Studies and Education for the 2016–2017 academic year, where she established advisory board members, operating and budget processes and procedures, and identified non-tuition revenue sources.
In August 2017, she was appointed assistant provost of Academic Affairs; in this position, she collaborates to facilitate continuous improvement of policy and procedures between the academic and operational units.

Monika Rohde
Senior Associate Dean
In her nearly 20 years at ºÚÁϵ¼º½, Monika Rohde has successfully developed the Office of Undergraduate Student Success and Advising (formerly Advising and Enrichment Center) into a significant and well-known resource on campus, expanding its services to include proactive outreach and advising support to undergraduate students, enrichment services that provide academic support and tutoring to students throughout their college careers, and student success initiatives that have had positive impacts not only on the student experience but also on retention and graduation rates.
A first-generation American and college student, she holds a B.S. in Health Sciences from Boston University and earned a M.A. in Communication Arts from ºÚÁϵ¼º½.

Irene Young
Campus Dean
Irene Young, Ed.D., was appointed campus dean and executive director of ºÚÁϵ¼º½-Vancouver in 2016. During this time, ºÚÁϵ¼º½-Vancouver added a satellite campus at Broadway Tech Centre to accommodate the rapid growth in student enrollment. Dean Young earned her Doctor of Education degree in 2019 from Simon Fraser University. She obtained a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of British Columbia in 1991 and has been a chartered professional accountant (CMA) for over 30 years.
Young has been an educator for 25 years, working in various administrative capacities in both the K–12 system and the post-secondary system.

Academic Deans
Maria Perbellini
School of Architecture and Design
Maria R. Perbellini, M.Arch., earned her Master of Architecture from the Pratt Institute. She also holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia in Italy.
Prior to joining ºÚÁϵ¼º½, she served as associate dean for graduate programs in the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University (TTU), where she developed a Master of Architecture curriculum with four graduate certificates, as well as a post-professional Master of Science in Architecture program with specializations in digital design and fabrication, urban and community design, and design and health. She also coordinated the interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in Land-Use Planning, Management, and Design.

Charles N. Moore
College of Arts and Sciences
Charles N. Moore, Ph.D., had been with Washington State University as professor and chair in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. With extensive experience in leading large academic departments, research, and pursuing student- and faculty-centric approaches to leadership, Moore appreciates the value ºÚÁϵ¼º½ has placed on interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary interaction. “ºÚÁϵ¼º½ emphasizes a broad education, including the humanities and social sciences,” he says. “These ideals produce highly skilled graduates who are socially responsible.”

Babak Dastgheib-Beheshti
College of Engineering and Computing Sciences
Babak D. Beheshti, Ph.D., is a professor and dean of the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences (CoECS) at New York Institute of Technology.
Babak’s experience in higher education spans over 35 years, where he has served as a full-time faculty member, president of the Academic Senate, associate dean, and dean. As dean, Babak led the engineering college to the introduction of its first two Ph.D. programs, in computer science and engineering, two new bachelor’s degree programs, and one new master’s degree program, in addition to leading the college through its fastest climb in national rankings.

Nicole Wadsworth
School of Health Professions
Nicole Wadsworth, D.O., has an extensive career history of leadership roles in clinical and academic medicine, as well as executive administration. Wadsworth currently serves as dean of New York Institute of Technology’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) and ºÚÁϵ¼º½’s School of Health Professions. Previously, she served as NYITCOM site dean and senior associate dean. Board-certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine, Wadsworth is also a professor of emergency medicine at the university.

Jaishankar Ganesh
School of Management
Jaishankar Ganesh, Ph.D., had been with the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, part of the State University of New Jersey. In describing what attracted him to ºÚÁϵ¼º½, he notes the university’s visionary leaders, asset mix of schools and colleges, and locational strength with campuses in New York and Vancouver, among the factors. “Successful leaders in academia today are those who understand and respect tradition, but also those who help to enable change. I see that ecosystem for innovation and change in place at ºÚÁϵ¼º½ and want to be part of its vibrant, dynamic culture,” he says.
