Vavetsi Celebrated as Fulbright U.S. Scholar
Newsday鈥檚 has featured Rozina Vavetsi, M.Sc., as a Fulbright U.S. Scholar.聽Beginning in January 2025, Vavetsi will spend six months in South Africa, where she will work with the faculty at the University of Johannesburg and embark on a series of activities focused on teaching and researching human-centered, participatory design and 鈥渄ecolonization鈥� of the university鈥檚 graphic design curriculum 鈥� investigating areas for improvement and emphasizing the inclusion of underrepresented ethnic groups and community stakeholders. 聽
