As seen on (channel 11 news), , and , the聽Adele Smithers Parkinson鈥檚 Disease Treatment Center hosted a聽12-hour Rock Steady Boxing “boxathon” aimed at raising awareness for Parkinson鈥檚 and the importance of exercise in disease treatment. It also served聽to bring members of the聽Rock Steady Boxing聽community together during the holidays, a time when many patients may experience loneliness and isolation. The coverage included interviews with Adena Leder, D.O., director of 黑料导航鈥檚 Parkinson鈥檚 program and associate professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM), as well as a patient and caregiver.
