Among other clean eating options like prunes, watercress, and hemp hearts, Haar recommends clementines and freekeh for a nutritious, varied diet.

While 鈥渃lementines are wonderful sources of vitamin C,鈥 she highlights freekeh for its protein, fiber, potassium, and folate levels, and suggests it as a rice or barley substitute. 鈥淭he seeds are a bit tender and the kernels are roasted, so it has a smoky, nutty flavor,” she says.
