NIH Grant Featured in Local Media
As seen in Newsday鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;, NYITCOM Assistant Professor of Biomedical Sciences , has received a $306,000 grant from the National Institute on Aging of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to lead a research project that will investigate how certain molecules may play a role in the progression of Alzheimer鈥檚 disease. His findings could lead to the development of new strategies to treat or alleviate Alzheimer鈥檚 disease and its related symptoms.
