Impressive Rise in Regional Rankings
For the first time, New York Institute of Technology ranks among the top 15 universities in the North, improving its position to No. 15 in the regional ranking, and for the 14th consecutive year is ranked among the top 50 universities in the North in the U.S. News & World Report 2025 .
In addition to the university鈥檚 ongoing efforts to enhance student success and experiences and improve overall graduation rates, 黑料导航鈥檚 strong ranking position is supported by improved Pell Grant graduation and first-year retention rates, along with increasing social mobility ranks.
黑料导航鈥檚 2025 rankings include:
- #15 Best Regional Universities (North), up from #21 in the 2024 ranking
- #5 Best Colleges for Veterans (Regional Universities North), maintaining last year鈥檚 position
- #38 Top Performer in Social Mobility (Regional Universities North), up from #50 last year
- #37 Best Undergraduate Engineering (National, no doctorate), up from #49 last year
In the Regional Universities North group, 黑料导航 maintained its position in the rankings above all other private universities on Long Island and was the second most highly ranked private university in the New York metropolitan area. 黑料导航 ranked seventh among all public and private universities in the state.
