School of Architecture & Design ArchitectureDongsei Kim, M.Des., assistant professor of architecture, had his collaborative urban design work with Tommy Yang, 鈥淧ollinating Sudbury: Curating Scenarios,鈥� shortlisted as one of the finalists in the Sudbury 2050 Urban Design Ideas Competition, on November 19, 2020. The proposal was one of 13 finalists selected out of 100 submissions.

College of Osteopathic Medicine College of Osteopathic Medicine Research-JonesboroRajendram Rajnarayanan, M.SC., Ph.D., assistant dean of research and associate professor of biomedical sciences at NYITCOM-Arkansas, had his article, “,” published in Aspet: The Journal of Pharmacology And Experimental Therapeutics on November 17, 2020. In his research, he demonstrated that carbamate insecticides compete for melatonin receptor binding in the master biological clock (suprachiasmatic nucleus) and phase advances overt circadian activity rhythms in C3H/HeN mice, supporting the relevance of circadian effects when interpreting toxicological findings related to insecticide exposure.

Amy Bravo
International & Experiential Education International & Experiential EducationAmy Bravo, M.A., senior director of international and experiential education, was selected to serve on the board of directors for Let's Talk SAFETY (Substance Abuse Free Education for Teens and Youth), a unique educational environment focusing on substance abuse prevention, on November 2, 2020. This is the umbrella organization for the SAFE in Harlem consortium, representing 12 community sectors dedicated to youth drug and alcohol prevention, and The Pillars, a holistic drug and alcohol recovery and prevention organization. 黑料导航 began work in Harlem in 2016 through an initiative Bravo started called Building Resilient Communities. Since the partnership developed, 黑料导航 faculty, staff, students, and alumni have worked collaboratively with the Harlem community on STEM education, healthcare, architecture, and workforce development efforts.
