School of Health ProfessionsBeth Elenko, Ph.D., associate professor of occupational therapy, along with Alexa Georgeton, OTD, Kavita Gera, OTD, and Nicole Maguire, OTD, published an article in American Occupational Therapy Association on August 1, 2023, entitled a discussion of coaching practices in birth to three OT practices that were solidified during the pandemic and need to continue post-pandemic. It is a case study based on a qualitative interview study with families of children in early intervention, which examines their perspectives and experiences with the coaching method.

David Broder
COMDavid Broder, D.O., associate dean and professor, College of Osteopathic Medicine, was re-elected as Vice Speaker of the at the annual meeting of the AOA, on July 23, 2023. Broder also presided over the meeting along with Speaker Ray Morrison, D.O. The AOA represents more than 178,000 osteopathic physicians and medical students across the United States.
