Shaya Sheikh, Ph.D., associate professor of quantitative and analytics, and Ehsan Kamel, Ph.D., associate professor of energy management and the director of the Energy and Green Technologies Laboratory (EnTech Lab), published an article titled This study, published in the current issue of the Journal of Building Engineering (dated July 15, 2024), investigates the relationship between building characteristics and energy-related outputs for low-income and non-low-income households in the United States.

The paper explores how auditors’ negative moods, triggered by flight delays, impact auditing quality, demonstrating that such negative moods can enhance auditing effort and quality, evidenced by reduced future accounting restatements and increased audit efforts.
