The Foresight for Development initiative is part of the Southern Africa Node of the Millennium Project, dedicated to supporting the effective use of foresight for Africa's future by aggregating, enhancing and promoting futures thinking and practice in Africa.

Milan Toma

Milan Toma, Ph.D., assistant professor of mechanical engineering, joined the IEEE-USA鈥檚 Research & Development Policy Committee (R&DPC) on April 1, 2018. The R&DPC provides technical advice to U.S. government policymakers, analyzes and interprets new technologies and policies, and promotes policies that enhance U.S. economic security and competitiveness.

Patricia Happel

College of Osteopathic Medicine Family Medicine

Patricia Happel, D.O., assistant professor of family medicine and associate medical director of the Academic Health Care Center, received the designation of Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (FACOFP) at the Conclave of Fellows at ACOFP, March 22, 2018. The designation signifies the recognition of Happel's experience, dedication, and contributions of the highest order to the advancement of family practice by her peers.
