Office of Institutional ResearchAbhishek Singh, M.S., research associate, and Mohammed Moizuddin, M.S., director, both working in the Office of Institutional Research, presented a session titled 鈥溾�� at the 2025 AIR Forum in Orlando, Fla., on May 22, 2025. Their session showcased how tools like Tableau Prep, Tableau, and Python can be applied to NSSE survey data to uncover trends in student engagement and to support institutional efforts around retention and graduation.

College of Engineering and Computing SciencesWei Zeng, Ph.D., assistant professor of mechanical engineering, along with students Darshana Potnis, Mengyin Xu, and Elijah Hill, placed first in the SIMULIA Americas Users Conference (SAUC) 2025 Academic Poster Competition for their research titled "Biomechanics of Lower Extremity Joints: Computational Modeling of Hip Fracture Fixation and Knee Joint Mechanics." The poster competition took place on May 7, 2025.

Hinds, Ed.D.,, associate provost for the Office of Student Engagement and Development, was installed as a New Mother in the Westchester County Chapter of . It is a national organization founded in 1938, dedicated to developing youth into future leaders through structured programming, leadership training, community service, and cultural enrichment. With chapters nationwide, the organization engages children ages 2 to 19 and their families in initiatives promoting academic excellence, civic responsibility, philanthropy, and social awareness.
