Michael Schiavi
School of Arts and SciencesMichael Schiavi, Ph.D., professor of humanities, appears as a film historian in the new documentary, , which had its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 6 and has since played the Frameline50 Festival in San Francisco and the Provincetown Film Festival. The film is a study of homophobic murders that took place in New York City.

The paper and presentation explored memoirs and fictional autobiographies in children's and young-adult fiction that complicate the conventions of storytelling.
